    Summer weather predictions

I need to be dropping hay asap. Rain again for another week though. Got 5.75 inches last week. Forage be exploding. I'm good with it, beats the hell out of no rain.

    T-post one, me zero

My fingernail is still weird from doing that. No way I could have napped. That shits rough. Hurt worse than my 28 Oz framer busting my thumb.

Is this Virginia Wild Rye? I believe this is the same as the first one picture of the thread. Has bearded type seed. It's a sod type grass. Small leaves compared to most of the rest. This one somewhat resembles fescue, but it's not.

    Some young culls

I helped my processor today. Had the pleasure of helping butcher and package two animals that I took two weeks ago. I wish I had taken more pictures, but didn't want to bother my buddy. I'm not 100% sure which animals these are exactly, but it's 2 out of 4 that I took that day. Between ages 3...

@Mark Reynolds Found one that had sent the seed out. It's a real pretty grass. The leaf shape is definitely unique from everything else. These leaf blades are 5/8" wide. Stem is close to 3/16 at the ground.

The seedhead had not emerged yet. I pulled some leaf back to expose it. Possibly the reason they're so thin? Keeping my eye out for a mature clump. I've got a type of brome that was brought in thru hay from the lease in Morristown. It's a helluva producer. I'll try to compare the two.

I wondered this whole time if it could be brome, but I've never seen it before. That's pretty dang neat!

    Pay day

Makes no sense to me. None whatsoever. You can bet your a$$ I won't ever be looking to buy 5 weights to feed out.

I found another clump yesterday. Has the thinnest little seeds.
