Sad news regarding a cherished member

Haven't been on in a while but I heard about Troy and felt a need to pay my respects somehow. Troy is only one of two members of this board that I've actually met face to face. He was a sincere and honest man. This world could use a lot more like him. He was truly a good man. Praying for his...

Monopoly in the meat processing business.

So you say government regulations are a problem then want cattle farms to be regulated to more than 500 head. 🤔 You say that no one with a 100 acres and a tractor has no right to farm. 🤨 Where at? In Russia? In the good old US of A things may not be perfect but I D@&# sure still have a right...

Sounds like a bobcat. May have got him in the tree.

    Amazing birds

That's interesting. Do you think it was another bird or an animal. I've seen fly down on the ground and sit. Either trying to catch something or killing it. A bobcat might have been close by and got him. But I know you would know what that would look like.

    Amazing birds

Enjoyed that Alison. Just goes to show that Gods imagination is unlimited. The eye has not seen nor the ear heard what He has prepared for those who love him.

    Genetics and Herd Expansion

This has got to be the absolutely most ignorant paragraph I've ever read on CT. . And that's saying a lot.

    CT Roll-Call

Here...for the moment anyway. I hardly ever come on anymore. I completely stopped going to a couple of hunting and gun forums before I stopped coming on here. I can't really say why because I really don't know why. Maybe I got bored or tired of some things that were going on and being said. I...

Agree, government regulations are killing the United States health care system.

    What’s wrong with people?

I can't figure out why those space critters would travel halfway across the galaxy to cut up a cow. Looks like they would go for something a little more interesting like a giraffe.

    Hello Tennessee Tux

Hello Bigfoot! I haven't been on in a while. I need to log in more often. I'll try to do that. Life gets in the way sometimes. T.T. did give me a heads up on your YouTube devotionals. I watched some of them. Very good.

    .07 per pound

My wife works at a bank. They had a loan advisor come in a few years ago. The first thing he said when he started was "don't loan money for chicken houses". One of the loan officers in the meeting is a chicken farmer.

    So Long, My Old Friend

I haven't been on the boards in a while but I heard Dun passed away. I'm sure sorry to hear this. Dun was a great asset to the forum. Not only was he knowledgeable but also interesting. He seemed to always have a good attitude. He will be missed not only by his own family as well as the cattle...

My deep though of the day (Dinosaurs)

One Foggy night my wife and I were driving down a highway. As we were approaching an intersection where a county road crossed the highway I noticed in the rear view mirror that our baby daughter had somehow gotten out of her car seat restraints. I pulled into a turn off I knew about just about...

CB, a good coat for damp, cold weather.

How on earth can you lose a jacket hanging on a fence post on a hobby farm for three months?
