    Is it gas or diesel? The diesel engines will last forever, however, those models had a clutch problem. I would avoid unless the clutch has been replaced which many were.

    I will let Kenny answer as to which one he is using now. He bought one of the original ones that were invented in Greenville, TN. A friend of mine knew the guy that invented it and he tried out one of the prototypes and almost damn near killed a calf with it. Those plugged into an outlet.

    Here is one. Here is another. I looked into this some time ago. The most efficient way to feed is using skirted cone feeders. Only about 3.5% waste with those. I want to build one of these, but probably never will.

    I try to always unroll, but I find less waste with a ring. I don't use them much but if I am forced to, I use a ring on the rare occasion.

    Unless you are short on hay, which has been a problem in our area. I am fine now, but, last month I was trying to stretch it.
