Post a random picture

This picture reminds me of my dad. He was taking a hammer just like in the picture and beating the guard straight. I was maybe 10 yr. old and pulling the belt to move the knives around so he could see which guards were bent. I pulled the belt like he said and his finger was in between the guards. I cut his finger off below the nail. Those new knives we had just put in it cut his finger off just like cutting a blade of grass. They did sew his finger back on, but he never did have and feeling in it the rest of his life.

My dad chopped the end of his finger with a chop saw. They sewed it back on, and he also didn't have any feeling in the end of it. He also said it got cold quicker than the rest of his fingers.

According to the radio News people we are currently experiencing the worst air quality conditions in the world. Not sure how true that is but it's bad. Visibility is less than 1/4 mile and the ash is coming down like snow.
Where is it coming from?

I sympathize. We had so much smoke a few weeks ago that we couldn't see the mountains less than eight miles away. Thick smoke and no way to get outside except to run for the car.

My wife would beg to differ. She says the worst air quality in the world is in our bedroom after a feast of red beans and rice.
Hard to see beyond the bedposts too, with eyes watering
