Good ideas but they work on ground is lot flatter than a lot of what we are dealing with. I can go places with the quad that I wouldn't take a pickup or a tractor. There is a trail down to where that smoke is on the left side of the picture. But it is a little sketchy on a quad. Be suicide on a tractor or a pickup. The river is just the other side of the close up brush.

That would be no fun fencing or removing an old burn fence.
 
I built this unit to go onto my post hole digger. Everything is from the scrap pile so all I have is some time and welding rod. Have rolled up a lot of wire with it usually 3 to 5 strands at a time.

The fence builder has a wire roller similar to the one Chevy made. His is on the front of a skid steer. A couple pictures of the results.

Mine is on the front of a skid steer as well. Hydraulic control allows you to start slow and build up speed as the wire gets moving or go slow and steady if the wire is stubborn.
