These are 5 and 6 yr old pairs with BIG black bull calves. Worked everything this evening. Steered em. Dehorned one. Lil nubs.
5 males. 1 heifer calf who is exceptional quality. Well, they are all really good!
Pairs weighed 1693 Lbs average
Guessing calves at 200-maybe 250lbs

These cows are kind of a pain in the arse to work with. So gentle they just kinda stand around and watch ya wondering what to do!

You did good if you didn't have to mortgage the farm to buy them . 😁 Neighbor just bought 50 head of black and black baldie cows . All bred coming with their 2nd calf and 2 angus bulls. He had just sold 80 head of preconditioned 600-650 calves . He wheels and deals and usually makes money. Good looking set of young cows .

My buddy did. He's buying a few here and there to re-sell as a group in October. She really is a nice cow. Over 1400lbs. I think she was a 4x5. Very smooth. Very gentle.
Nothing real special. She looks just like all the others he's put together. Most expensive cow he's bought to date tho. He gave over $2100 for her. Not really like him to go that high.
