Think she will make milk?

Bessie sure has been one heck of a good investment. After re-reading my entire thread, she's been nothing short of AMAZING!

First year she raised 3 calves, pretty much on grass once the spring flush hit.
Helped with a couple more thru the season.

So she had a hand in 5 calves that first year.

This year she's raise 2 to an early weaning of five months. Pulled doubles with Brandy with 2 calves til I could get em sold. Then raised 2 more for a couple months til they sold!
Now she's on her 7th calf this season!

That's a lot of calves for one very special cow.....

I hope you have given her lots of treats!! she has deserved extra.
Shes certainly getting a bit extra right now! I want her good n fat going into winter.
I'm gonna let her raise this single for a few months. I held the bull off to move her out of February into March.

I'm kind of excited to see how Frank grows being an only child... 😆

Bessies first born here.
I may fiddle around and make her a post of her own since she's nearby.
She will be a cow about this time next year...
Shes definitely big enough. She needed bred several months ago. And she is SUCH a sweet sweet gurl! Much sweeter than her mama. LOVES attention and treats.

Hard to believe that brindle is out of a jersey cow!
