Scribner panicum (Scribner's Panic Grass, Dichanthelium scribnerianum) is my best guess, but a guess is all it is.
Or witchgrass (panicum capillarge l.)

That may be it. It does have a furry stem. I actually found some in my yard too which is 15 miles away.
