Show me your herd bull

That is one cool looking bull! What the heck is he?
Speckle park, breed is going nuts here, cow sold for 100k a while back. Some straws of semen selling for 1000s. If you ask me a fool and his money are easily parted but whatever floats your boat hey. There is quite a few start up herds in the U.S. now, I've been following progress there.

some good looking bulls, y'all. I need to get some newer pix. actually I need to get some new bulls, skipped the last few years or the local sale didn't happen during covid and we had good numbers, but a couple are getting old and need switching out. got 4 registered bought bulls, one bought from a friend, and 3 we raised. mostly angus/brangus or close. one hereford. nobody around here has brahmas any more. would do some good to put more ear on here but while I sure like the look of a good brangus bull, I think we have enough of the angus part of the influence. I also like char cross calves but not the calving part of it.

here are the last two purchased

Two home bred sires who have produced very good progeny. A son of Hyline Right Way 781 and a SAV Harvestor son. We have been a closed herd since 2007 and have used AI and ET to produce bulls from our best cows. Showing cattle is my hobby (not into quilting, gardening or breeding poodles 🙄) so we pick the most attractive each year to exhibit, for a bit of fun. Then they get turned out with the girls.
