That would be fine if it were 'the CONSUMER'....but actually it is just a MIDDLEMAN with a BIG STICK....the CONSUMER is much like us adjusting (buying) what the MIDDLEMAN can make the most money on........ That being said, "it is what it is" and my little opinion isn't changing it......

I'd contact George Wooley in Stephenville, Texas. I would recommend his cattle as being superior to Huth Cattle in every way.

Two are Cooper bulls, One is a Coleman bull, One is a Rutt bull.

Just notice it said, Oklahoma. They (Deewalls) are VERY close to Oklahoma but are in Kansas! funny how your mind concentrates on some things and misses others...

I understand why you'd ask a question like that but there is no quick and easy answer. The answer would be unique to your area. Genetics and Environment BOTH (and environment to a larger degree) determine mature cow size. A sire that is siring 1700# cows in western Montana may very well sire...

I know what you mean. That close breeding, you might end up with an extra limb or a slack jaw or a lazy eye or ...or....

I'd skip the sales. Just head over to Stephenville, Texas, that Dot-US guy probably has something that will work. I hear he's upgrading to these new and improved EPD cattle...... After you buy a bull from him, make sure he takes you down to Dublin for a good after sale meal...... Save time...
