I saw those at a farm show had some bullet fly applicators attached thought that may be interesting they where pretty heavy gauge I am on a don't buy until the old wears out stage so may be awhile
I think the bottom line is don't believe the reps don't go to sale barns in which you will be .003% of the sales that day if it is going to make a difference to you.
Fortunately it's a process live and learn produce a good product and next time I will throw my hat in with some larger producers...
agree completely a responsible producer should wean and vaccinate their cattle but when they say to bring the records to the sale barn then don't look at them then are told that they would verify and promote the work you have done then don't it is very hard to trust it is worth the risk and...
Well looked into this further I may have hit the decline in the market but still irritated that the rep at Joplin did not do what he said he would. I have talked to a few more people it's apparently a pretty closed group new comers tend to get the low end of sale prices regardless of how nice...
I tried a Vac 45 weaning etc and used a large sale barn in Southeast Mo and have to admit really regret the experience the sales rep who said he would meet me didn't. The cattle were apparently not seperated and sold with just weaned after saying they would not co mingle. When I talked to the...
Trying to decide on steel vs fabric barns for hay storage seems to be a tax advantage both property and depreciation for fabric and cheaper but hoping to get some input both can blow away seems like I can do a concrete wall and get some advantages of a true building? Metal seems sturdier but to...
I went to a lecture on composting carcasses basically above ground put them in some old hay fenced to keep the pile intact and add some water in 4-6 months nothing but small bone pieces. Haven't tried it but seems fairly easy
Thanks Home Depot apparently carries acetone played with that a ton in my old Chemistry days without gloves! Looking forward to trying again this weekend fingers crossed since I don't know how I would get new ones on at this point
Great I put the blaster down between the ones that were looser. I will try again in a few days they have been this way for 6+ years I bought the place a year ago.
It is very thick used oil pipe. Fingers crossed a tincture of time will help
I have a set of pens that have hinges that were one larger pipe over another pipe. It hadn't been used in awhile and have rusted together prior owner broke off a few of the welds to gates.
I put master blaster in the ones that moved and the rusted moving ones work great now
How to "unstick"...
Made the simple meatloaf recipe then couldn't find the ketchup/mustard/brow sugar for the top so substituted mole sauce and yum now our go to favorite about half the bottle on the top
Sold 4 cull cows 2 yo heifers and 7 yo cows all open and I was surprised $55.75 a head commission, feed, blood charges etc etc. didn't include preg check since I knew they were open does this seem high for sale barn commissions?
Hogs have gone hog wild this spring probably have about 4-5 acres of rooting some 8-10 inches deep. How do I remediate thinking using the bulldozer attachment to skid steer but definitely up for suggestions and do I have to reseed?
Thank you so much I think it is the water pressure there are a group of expensive homes up the hill from me and they like their hot showers all at the same time. I am going to try the better regulators and the spring idea and see how it goes.
I am actually excited about getting my hands on it...
My one hole waterer has leaked since we bought it changed ball, the valve assembly, the valve seat, we have a regulator in that will get changed next any other thoughts? It overflows my thought is it is the pressure regulator. The valve doesn't seem to do well with any pressure.
Any other...
