    Curly question on early insemination.

In my opinion, I'd rather breed late than too early.

    Trailer brakes

If you have the time delay controller, throw it away. I've been happy with the Prodigy inertia controller I put on my 05 Ram, after I threw the Draw Tite time controller away.

Advice for AI on some heifers

Heifers are doable. In my opinion, the difficult ones can be very hard to pass the rod on. Most aren't too bad.

    CIDR questions!

Gun stays in a bucket of chlorohex solution. I load gun with CIDR, and then dip whole gun and CIDR in a one gallon jug of lube. Been doing it like this since CIDR's became available in the U.S.

    Pinkeye outbreak

I've treated pinkeye with both sub-q injections of oxytetracycline and the subconjunctival injections of penicillin with steroids. Both cured the pinkeye. It's cheaper to do the subconjunctival injections.

    Question about a retained placenta.

Thirty years ago we manually removed the placenta. Current vet recommended to wait three days, if it hasn't passed, give a dose of LA200 or 300, and 5 cc's of Lutalyse. Haven't had very many, but any that did always recovered and rebred on time.

    Heifer Safe Clubbies

Just remember, club calves and calving ease are usually an antagonistic relationship.

    2015 Ford F250 problem

Sounds to me if they want to call it contaminated fuel, then Ford installed a faulty filtering system.
