so do you want to breed with a bull that was born in january or in april. Some of us are crop farmers and april calving doesn't fit in. we are in michigan and calving works out better than in april. less sickness by far.

They will make good mothers - I think. I take lots of our own cow pictures for shows and ads. I've found you need to get down on your knee to get a better picture of cattle. shows off more eye appeal.

We've found genetics play a big part in calf size. Full feed does make the calf a little bigger, 2-3# extra. Hate to say it probably the bull. good luck and stay up at nite.
