    Favorite 4 x 4 side by side

Had a HPX Deere and traded for a XUV last year, the fuel injection is a must. My wife still uses our old 4x2 now the TX when Jr isn't using it. I would not buy anything with out fuel injection, we traded lawnmowers to get one with fuel injection. We have always had Deeres and would have had...

    Angus Heifer Bulls

I used HARB Onward 786 JH #15410857 , he was one of the high sellers at Midland last year. I have some OCC Great Plains cows and they always get bred to Lead On to improve temperment and he works on them phenotypically. Great Plains X D806 would be fun to have to deal with. I really like good...

    Angus Heifer Bulls

Blueprint is a 1023 son ABS picked up, didn't ask any questions as I still have 1023 semen. Glad to here about the All Around calves, I have some coming this fall and bought more semen to use this spring. He impressed me much more than Forward, they were side by side at Origen. While touring...

    Angus Heifer Bulls

One thing about D806 to consider is temperment. I gave my Mytty In Focus semen to my neighbor because I don't care for the calves. I bred him to some of my best and they are below average as a sire group. Tried Power One a little, they are not much and a little big. Midland is a stand out...

    Angus Heifer Bulls

My favorite is BR Midland, but going to use 1023 again after calving out a set of his daughters this spring. Time bred 10 hiefers and had 9 Midland calves with 8 being hiefers last fall and with the daughters and grandaughters already in production I am set with his genetics. My Basin...

    Unbelievable!

Rarely will springers abort without Lut and Dex. Ace is virtually harmless and given out by vets all the time. I have used it before tying up calves, first trailer ride, clipping, and yes showing in the past. The Angus calves don't need it but when I raised whites it was " drug free by day...

    Born In A Brier Patch

We have Mud Pie from my sons show hiefer. Had a 79 degree temp when found. Momma milks like a holstien and has always been fat.

    Right to be doubtful?

I have used Ali and hes truly a proven calving ease clubby. His semen is now $200 and up now. Rocky and Tyson have the potential to replace Ali but I am still waiting for proof. Their is a lot to be said for a calving ease Angus for the first calve, 50% of the calves BW comes from mom and she...

    Phenotype Evaluation please!

I love the "I have never pulled a calf" statment. BS, 5% of mature cows need help when calf is mispresented per university studies. I calfed out 45 hiefers and pulled one this fall, she tried to have it at 4:30 in the afternoon no shade by the waterer in 106 heat index gave up in heat. I guess...

    Ear Tags

Ritchey will engrave them w/ their computer engraver and its perfect and not bad priced. I use some of the large hotstamped tags and they wizz the sire code on top on jumbos you can get three lines with1 3/4 inch main letters. Really worth the money and they will just do one at a time.

    Frankie; Woodhill Foresight

I have 6 fall 05 models from Sitz's that are wet. I got them at their fall herd dispersal in August 06. I used Foresight this fall in my herd after seeing the udders, performance and function of these females. Saw some sons sell at Dalebanks this fall also reinforced using him. My Foresights...
