    Castrating calves alone?

    Depending on weight of course,from the day of birth till 200# or so I just flank them to the ground, once down I use a pig and string(thats what some call it),or just use a rope but anyway that frees up your hands to either cut or band ,this is just what works well for me.....

    Is this something she will grow out of once she settles down or does it progress ? Should I have let her settle in and get use to seeing my family before I tried halter breaking her but she was this way as soon as I got her home,she didnt do this garbage when I loaded her.Its hilariuos to watch...
