My brother in law asked me the other day if there was a difference in the taste between a bull and steer. I have never had a bull butcherd before so i did not have a answer for him. I figured a bull's meat would be tougher but was not sure. Is there any difference in taste.

i was thinking the same thing but we have around the same amount of cows as last year at this time and we had plenty of grass we kept a few heifer calves this year but not enough to make that big of a difference in the amount of grass. Will the good green hay still put the weight on them i plan...

i am from southwest missouri. We got a good amount of rain in april and may but the grass never really took off like it always does. Our grass is mostly clover and fescue with some orchard grass. That land was just used for grazing. We get hay off a friends place. thanks

we have ringworm on a few of are calves but it is mostly around there eyes and some on there spine. I can spray there spine but i do not want to spray around there eyes. How are you suppouse to spray it without it getting in there eyes.

i see both points here. On the reverse side how would you like it if one of your cows busted the fence and got onto your neighbor's property and they saw it and figured it could do some harm and just shot just for the heck of it without it doing anything wrong. I am not against shooting dogs on...
