when i whent to go give the cows alittle grain this morning i noticed one of my heifers had one of dew claws peeled back it was bleeding but not very much. the skin was still attached she let me touch it did not seem to hurt. I was wondering if there was any kind of antibiotic i should put on it or to leave it alone i just dont want it infected.

I would wrap it at least. We had a cow at work fall in the gutter and rip 3 dewclaws clean off. We wrapped them and I think put nolvasan on? Don't remember exactly but I know they were wrapped. She healed right up and they have since grown back. I think the most important thing would be to keep the wound clean if there is one.
