The problem with the more maternal bull vs the terminal bull is you may not plan on keeping heifers one year. Then you have 3 cows breed back very late, 1 die, and 2 raise calves your not happy with. Then you have to keep heifers. I'm only running one herd of 35 though. I Could see it working...
