Helped run my Grandpa's Angus herd of about 50 back in the 70's. It was survival of the fittest. Haven't had cattle since 1980. Thought it was time to raise our own meat. Jeeves gets to stay unless he becomes aggressive....then he goes in the freezer.

Is there a lick tub which my donkeys can help themselves to? What I am reading says it's the urea which can cause problems. They are out with our little herd to watch over the babies. Thanks.
I don't think this works for fire ants. They don't care about sugar...they go for protein. For a natural remedy, cold pressed orange oil injected down in the hill will work, but for a pasture??...too expensive and a lot of time involved.
