Helped run my Grandpa's Angus herd of about 50 back in the 70's. It was survival of the fittest. Haven't had cattle since 1980. Thought it was time to raise our own meat. Jeeves gets to stay unless he becomes aggressive....then he goes in the freezer.

I really don't know...found him online from a former breeder (so I was told). I don't have an eye for cattle but he had a kind eye and was quiet.

    Tubs

Is there a lick tub which my donkeys can help themselves to? What I am reading says it's the urea which can cause problems. They are out with our little herd to watch over the babies. Thanks.

    Ant hills

I don't think this works for fire ants. They don't care about sugar...they go for protein. For a natural remedy, cold pressed orange oil injected down in the hill will work, but for a pasture??...too expensive and a lot of time involved.

    Cattle coral system

C & B We are new owners with just a few Brangus and a "Special" bull. We purchased this sweep system with their custom Angus chute and had wheels put on that so we could move it around, if needed. The pricing is really good compared to some other companies. Quality is heavy duty..the...

New owner and new here...I am curious as to the "why" of the preference of black bulls. There cannot be any difference in the meat. AND!!!!!!.....Why is there a prejudice at the sales for anything with a belt? We bought a few brangus cows last summer and then, separately, purchased a Belted...
