We use Norgold clover, no problems with bloat but is a hard crop to get put up in the right condition and a person will want to mix it off, not for bloat but for digestive reasons.

easiest way to avoid mold is to always be short of hay, then you will not have any leftover to store :lol: The downfalls of a dry year.lol.

Yes partly the plan. I ws going to plant it early enough to fall graze,spring graze and cut early enough to hold some cows for a week or so after I cut it. Thats asking alot I know but it does well with little moisture and we seem to be getting alot of that lately

What if you cut it right before it heads out will it come back well enough to graze one more rotation?
