This is the protocol I use. Last year we bred close to 50 heifers and had 75% take. Dan Busch, who they quoted in the article does our AI. He knows his stuff.

What ear tags have you all had the best luck with? I would like to be able to put our name on them. The ones we use now seem to fall out a lot.

I had similar thoughts on both bulls. You think he would be good on heifers? We are going to use him on cows primarily.

64a was my first choice but he got out of the range I wanted to spend. What did he end up going for?

We preg checked all of our cows and hiefers today. 61 out of 64 are bred. Looks like we will have a busy February, March and April. All calves born in February will be AI calves from war party and SAV Prosperity. We also vaccinated all of our calves. Was a very busy day but enjoyable.
