I have a six month old calf and this morning she had a bunch of "eye boogers". Each time I wipe them off more come shortly. She does not appear to be in pain and is not squinting. Is this pink eye, is it something else or am I worrying for nothing? Any info is appreciated. Thank you.
If a trailer belongs to an organic farm is it okay for someone with non organic cows to use it or would that somehow harm the farms certification? Or is it just something risky to do? Or is it fine? :D Thanks for any info!

Alternating soaps can also help so that the same oils aren't taken away each time. Sometimes even using shampoo or conditioner meant for humans can restore some moisture and or oil to their coat. I don't suggest it very often because it can get quite expensive.
I know this isn't cows, but I figure someone in farming can help. I have a baby chick that's about a week old. Today she looks tired and lathargic and has possible bloody poop. Do you know what she has and if I can treat it? Any information would be appreciated. I love her and I don't wanna lose...

My club usually brings a few cans of soda to every show. If she's not drinking pour a little soda in the water and if that doesn't work try getting her used to drinking purified water at home then bring a portable purifier to the fairs.
