How old do the calves need to be to worm them? I know we use ivomec for the cows use the same product?

What causes a potbellied calf. are small herd is looking pot bellied and need to put a stop to it if possible. Thanks for any suggestions.

The first bull is a 50/50 cross Romagnola/Angus. The second one is out of the same bull (100% Romagnola) that London (previous post) is out of. The third bull is a 3/4 Romagnola 1/4 Angus. I put 2 yr olds put they are about 19 to 21 months. Chapman

These are our first RomAngus calves. We have been pleased so far we have about 15 on the ground now, the BW's have ranged from 55 lbs. to 75 lbs. About the same as our straight Angus calves. We will see how it goes from here but looking good so far. Chapman

Each animal is from a little differant bloodline. I selected a good mix from RLW and SCR there are some good sires Prinhall Tommy, Thomas, Previsto, Renovator, Terminator. I beleive it's a good starting stock to get started with. Chapman
