I am becoming a fan of the removable magnetic light kits. rats don't chew on the wire and they don't get rained on I just keep em in the tool box and they work on anybody's trailer! does not fix the trailer brakes though.

just got a $1300 check today for selling 2 calves. one was 330lbs @ $2/lb. the other was 400+@ $1.80 so I bought quality bred cattle for what I sold small calves for edit: calves were bulls and not vaccinated.

yep, Saturday I bought one heifer 7 months bred fir $900 and one 7 year old 5 months bred for $700. both black and quality looking.

I would like to remind you that not everyone at the sale barn is an old hand. sale barns do attract the new beginners also. I think that if they get a raw deal a few times or feel deceived than they may quit or worse share their stories of misfortune and mistreatment with others.
