My protocol GnRh 7day CIDR PG Heat detect AI with GnRH

The CIDR is due to come out Sun at noon, and I now have an unavoidable scheduling conflict. I could pull them Sat evening or I can do it Mon evening. So I could be early or late. Would it matter? And if so, what would be better?

Thanks for your experience, as I have none.

I would prefer longer as you have better chance of catching the ones that were on heat just before the cidr went in. It won't make any difference doing it late on Monday.

And welcome to the forum

Ken

The protocol we use is this. CIDR in on Monday with 2cc GNRH, one week later remove the CIDR and give Lutalyse shot. Heat detect and then AI 60 hours later with shot of GNRH. So far is working for us. A Red Angus farm near us uses the same thing and has 92% success so far this year.
