ear corn weights about 70 lbs. per bushel. so about 14000 lbs. or 7 tons.

I can't tell you how many tons, but having shoveled many a load of ear corn into a grinder/mixer I would say 200 bushel would have taken the better part of a morning -- depending on how many times my brother and I could stall the IH 560 tractor.

(Eventually my dad gave up and hooked up a larger tractor) haha

Google says ear corn is 70 per bushel. It sure seems wsc would be heavier. But I guess it isn't.
a bushel of ear corn is 2.5 cubic feet. a bushel of shelled corn is 1.244 cubic feet. a true bushel is 1.244 cubic feet. ear corn uses a larger volume to estimate the area the cob takes up to end up with a final 56 lbs. of shelled corn. so yes, if the volume is the same wsc will weigh more.

No, that is not what I am saying. I am saying that is what I found on google search.
Well it's OK but you should have took the credit...lol....if their is 56 lbs of shell corn in a bushel and 70 lbs of ear corn in a bushel...simple math says their is 14 lbs of corn cobs in a bushel of ear corn.
