About how many tons of cattle feed would I have if I ground up 200 bushel of ear corn for example sake ?
That's why I said "if" and "about".bushels are usually for shelled corn. Would help to know gross weight.
Is that GMO or non-GMOGoogle says ear corn is 70 per bushel. It sure seems wsc would be heavier. But I guess it isn't.
Haha, those old ear pickers were not made for 200+ bu corn. It really makes them howl.Is that GMO or non-GMO![]()

a bushel of ear corn is 2.5 cubic feet. a bushel of shelled corn is 1.244 cubic feet. a true bushel is 1.244 cubic feet. ear corn uses a larger volume to estimate the area the cob takes up to end up with a final 56 lbs. of shelled corn. so yes, if the volume is the same wsc will weigh more.Google says ear corn is 70 per bushel. It sure seems wsc would be heavier. But I guess it isn't.
No, that is not what I am saying. I am saying that is what I found on google search.what your saying is a bushel of ear corn has 14 lbs of corn cob....
Those are the official govt. standardsNo, that is not what I am saying. I am saying that is what I found on google search.
Yes, I wondered how much of our tax dollars went to someone to figure out those numbers.
Well it's OK but you should have took the credit...lol....if their is 56 lbs of shell corn in a bushel and 70 lbs of ear corn in a bushel...simple math says their is 14 lbs of corn cobs in a bushel of ear corn. No, that is not what I am saying. I am saying that is what I found on google search.
And a bushel of alfalfa weights more than a bushel of shelled corn. Something wrong here.Google says ear corn is 70 per bushel. It sure seems wsc would be heavier. But I guess it isn't.
