You guessed right. Also just curious where cull cows from my area go.

It's actually according to the type cow. Laura's Lean probably gets a good portion of the really good cows and bulls. FPL in Augusta, GA gets decent cows from your area also.
Some of the buyers actually send the thin cows to Southeastern Provisions and sell on the rail. Don't think they have buyers themselves. I'm sure many go north or west to places that don't buy in my area.
