We all know 99% of those TV commercials cater to the lame brained minds of the public...lol. Of course, the more stupid the commercials are, the more people remember them...at least theoretically. Now... My "list" of bad commercials that have subliminal messages (or innuendos) about stuff...what is your "diagnosis" of these messages? (I know what mine are...): The "Bad" Commercials:
1. Burger King Commercials 2. Sonic Commercials 3. Transitions (photo sensitive eyeglasses) 4. Domino's Pizza (2 guys and a girl in a hot tub) 5. Arby's (3 construction workers eyeballing a guy walking) 6. Haggar (2 guys + 1 roofer) 7. Comfort Inn (2 guys + Pirate) 8. Dairy Queen (those big red lips + set of dentures) 9. Geico (fat kid with tongue wagging)
Some historic "good" commercials:
1. Burma Shave Signs 2. Camel (I'd walk a mile for a Camel) 3. Lucky Strike (LSMFT) 4. Marlboro Man 5. Alka-Seltzer 6. Beer Commercial ("From Land of Sky Blue Waters")
Some of most irritating commercials (including above "bad" ones):
1. Erectile Dysfunction 2. Toilet tissue ads (Charmin & Bears) 3. Feminine Products 4. Geico's Guys in Mattress fight 5. House Cleaning Gadjets (e.g., "Swifter", etc.) 6. Billy Mays' advertising all those $19.95 (P.T. Barnum) things. 7. The "Sanitizing" sprays to kill all those BAD germs. 8. All those Cell Phone & Wireless commercials. 9. The Home Based Business commercials (scam, scam...) 10. Vehicle Commercials that teach you to wreck your truck over impossible terrain
