[QUOTE="Deepsouth, post: 1158118, member: 17608"] This is a great thread Jo. With me it's not any routine that I do everyday but it's discovering something new everyday. Between my full time job as a forester and my part time job of cattle I am blessed to spend most of my time outdoors. I find my joy in seeing Gods great creation. Mighty live oaks spreading their limbs, a frosty morning, a 30 thousand foot high thunder head boiling up from the gulf seen from 100 miles away or the milkyway on a cloudless night. But it's often the small things that bring the most awe. A dragon fly, a wild flower, a bird, a flickering lighting bug, a new born calf or a single point of light representing some distant star in that big old milkyway. Sometimes it's the sounds like a wild turkey gobbling, the wind singing in the pines or a green frog croaking down in the creek. The smell of a magnolia blossom or a fresh mowed hay field. These are just a few of the things that God uses every day to let me know that no matter how crazy this world gets it still belongs to Him and He's still in control and through that I find peace in the storms of life.
