[QUOTE="Snider_Angus, post: 568889, member: 6521"] So just when i thought i was done halter breaking calves for a short period(until the Summer born come in) I bought 1 more. :D SO IN THE MORNING I GET TO START ON ONE MORE FOR THE STRING...... i dont know what to expect from her... 1/2 simmi 1/2 angus 500 lb. heifer. Adorable face and she seems gentle until you try to get a hold of the rope.. I had my 825 steer in there with her so i can kinda sneak around him and grab the rope without her noticing. From watching her dispositon i think she will be quite a challenge. County is September 4th so my goal at this point is to get her broke and clipped and get AS MUCH bloom(wont be much) on her as i can in 3 weeks. I think it is do-able. I got this years steer and one of last years heifers broke and gentle in a day, we were washing that night. SHE WILL BE DIFFERENT. Custer County- September 4th Oklahoma City- September 14th (entered today) Tulsa- November 6th or 7th (Local) Big sponsor show (andis, show chow, and shag)i think.. they are still talking about it MAYBE Phoneix(spelling) sometime over christmas break. i Will let you know how this halter breaking went.
