I used this gadget to verify voltage leakage at my cattle water trough. Right after I touched a steel panel with the other hand in the water. It also works great on electric fences!

If I am doing any electrical work at all, I always use one of these to check the lines, even if the breaker is off. I had never thought about using one for stray voltage. That is a great idea. Thanks for the tip.
