Good point. I had it in high school apparently when I was skinny as a rail and didnt realize it. I had nasal polyps at the time and thought that heck that is what is causing the problems. I had sinus surgery and they fixed my deviated septum and removed the polyps, and trimmed my adenoids. This stopped my snoring for a long while and stopped the headaches for a while. Recently, I went through some rough times and became depressed. I got fat, and since then I have been having the bad head aches again. I went back to the ear nose and throat specialist and they did a ct scan of my sinuses and only found one single polyp that was no bigger than a pea and it was far enough away in my sinus to not cause issues. So then I went to the regular doctor with asthma problems, he recommended I get a sleep study done as I was having trouble with intermittent insomnia and had for years. Then I went to the sleep doctor he said I needed to have a sleep study done. The rest is history. I go back october 6, 2009 for follow up having completed both nights of the sleep study.
