Laid up for a few days. Pulled the muscles in my lower back at work. I had thought I had slipped it out of alinement so I went to the chiropractor and he got it back in but I couldn't move off the table. Took me 20 minutes to get up with him helping. Said I had pulled or strained these muscles. Gave me a note to be off for 3 days. No walking, no standing, no lifting and ice it til it was numb. Co-workers are not happy, nor the store manager. The owners understand. They know I do not fake illness or injuries. At least being at home when I went to get a drink of water got to watch my daughter try to lead her 4-H steer through a gate so she could cool him off with the hose in this heat. She had to open the main gate and he finally lead through, but her Dairy heifer and my milk cow and both calves came through too. She was freaking out until I told her to relax and just get a scoop of feed and if my milk cow follows her the rest will follow her. She got them all back in the pasture. Told her to just let them eat the grass while she hoses off her steer.
