Thanks. I've been so busy the last few days I'm looking at the boards for a few minutes at 5:45 A.M.! I've enjoyed reading these! I've been tempted to talk wooodworking more in-depth with some of you guys, but this is CattleToday not Woodworking Today, so I have refrained from it. I want you to know that you all are the backbone of America. Those with rural roots and ties keep this country sane, in my opinion. There is one more occupation that I have that is right up there with husband and father in importance to me: I am I guess what most would call a lay minister, and have served as assistant pastor of our small church in the past. I preach frequently on weekends for other churches, and pastor occasionally puts me to work at the home church as well. I am the son of an evangelist/woodworker/rock layer/etc. Dad spent most of his life preaching for small churches that few would take the time for, and when he ran low on funds, we'd go back home and he'd work a few months until he was able to go again. He died two weeks before his 62nd birthday and retirement. He pastored several churches in his younger years. Having said all this, I sincerely hope that I have not been un-Christlike in any of our discussions, and if so, I'm sorry. Please don't think I'm trying to be holier-than-thou, boasting, or whatever. This is why I've quit spending much time on the boards on Sunday. Sorry this is such a long post!
