We were in some pretty woolly country. I had seen it show himself on the next ridge over. He would pop up for about 30 seconds with his nose in the air, and then disappear. We had 4 does down in the holler with us. They seemed content to just hang out. A little 4 point came in sniffing everything in sight. Luckily, the little 4 point ran the does away from the big buck. When he saw them leaving, he ran in like a thirsty hog to water. We hadn't really gotten a chance to hunt until today. He passed on several basket racks and a couple of 2 1/2 year old bucks. I was glad he waited.</p></blockquote><p></p>
