[QUOTE="Anonymous, post: 15225"] First off, cut him bavck to the recommended amount of milk replacer, ywo quarts morning and night. We had a similar thing a couple of years ago. We fed her the bottle and grain in the morning then turned her out with the others, in the evening we brought her back in and gave her another bottle and grain. When e weaned her from the bottle at about 4 or five weeks we just left her out with everybody else. Worked fine for us. The neighbor raises Holsteins for the dairy, he starts turning therm out after the morning feeding at about 2 weeks and just gives them their bottle through the fence in the evening. dunmovin farms > The bull calf I am bottle feeding > because of the fatal prolapse is > now 3 1/2 weeks old.
