Anybody in the NW got a good way to get rid of these suckers, BESIDES constantly digging up roots??? Our native Dewberry is overwhelmed by the nasty Him.'s and can't compete in open areas, where the sun-loving Him. takes over. MY grandparents selectively cleared 30 acres a couple years ago, and even the trees are struggling to grow above the berry bushes to get some sunlight.
HELP!!!

Brush hog them down in the spring and then spray with crossbow during the first two weeks of September. It may take a couple of years of doing this to get rid of them. Don't skip a year or the clock will start over. Winning a battle with them does not mean you have won the war.

We got goats and follow with hogs seems to do good. plus you fertilize at the same time. crossbow is the next best way to go.

Are you guys near the I-5 corridor ?? I am off exit 16, I-5 north.
