I have a hereford cross calf that's about 5 months old and I bought them as a pair at the sale a good while back. Anyways the calf when first bought it seemed fine and then it has progressivly just contiuned to not look like it felt well it gets up and eats some but it lays around a lot and you never see it up running around with other calves so pretty much acts like it has no energy. What could I give it? his breathing seems to be fine so don't know really what else it might have that I need to treat. I'm new to doctoring my own cattle so any help would be good. I know someone on here will say call the vet and I might but if there is something to try first that would be great. Thanks
