Good post but there is some flaws to it. Most of these weapons programs were put on the floor of the Senate during peacetime. It don't make any sense to form new weapons programs to wash away taxpayers's hard earned money. We already have enough superior weaponry in our arsenal, don't make sense to build new ones that will just sit around the yard and collect dust/rust under the blazing Texas sun. If John Kerry were on the Senat floor today, I am sure he would've said "yea" to these bills.. however most of these weapons bill were passed already and in use today. Secondly, a few of these bills were done in 1988 during the cold war with Russia. We were trying to show Russia our peaceful intentions by not creating new weapons....Russia were to do the same in their country. Eventually, our government came into agreement and the Cold War ended as these agreement is one of the reasons why the Cold war ended. Today, we are very close ally with Russia.... I hope to God we don't lose them as an ally! John Kerry is wrong to yea on anti-terrorisms bans and cutting FBI and CIA's fundings.....what the hell is he thinking? They are the ones that secure and protects our freedom ! Maybe Kerry learned his lesson? If get elected, he might not make same mistakes again? we don't know and thats scares me a bit....
