We just had a huge flock of geese fly over but with the wind and the low clouds I couldn;t tell what direction they were going

Had a big bunch come over here low a few days ago--circled dropped lower and I thought sure they were going to set down by my pond, but they headed on south.

They sure have a warm day to go somewhere.
At least the early part of the day. When the wind changes to out of the north I may hear them going over again heading the opposite direction

I've had groups come and go on my pond all year. I can't determine if they are the same group of resident geese in the area of true migrating geese.

There are geese flying by here every day of the year and flying towards every point on the compass. Some are residents, some are migrating, and I think some are just lost.

Yep, I think they are just as confused as the weather is.
