Eric, “LA, putting all the candidate bashing / harsh feelings for Kerry aside, just what has Bush done to impress you so much that you think he deserves 4 more yrs in office?” Have you been paying attention??? We suffered an attack that was worse than Pearl Harbor. More people died, and they were civilians. It was in the heart of our national financial community. Since then we have whipped two enemy countries and a third has thrown down their weapons. May there be much more of this type of nothing happen. “I am neither democrat/republican/liberal. and for the record, I voted for Bush in 2000, because I felt he was a much better candidate than Gore was, but what has he done the last 4 yrs to deserve my vote again?” Be honest. You’re a liberal. “He cant run a business” He couldn’t when he was on the bottle. He did OK in baseball. Didn’t put a winner up, but he made money. How, as a businessman, do you measure success if not the bottom line. He has certainly proved he can run a state and a nation. “we are at an all time high national debt” I don’t like that either, but let’s not forget that the executive office doesn’t vote on spending bills, that he stepped into office in the early part of a recession, and we’re fighting a war. “he is stepping all over human / constitutional rights” That is grossly inaccurate. In case you still haven’t noticed, we are at war. No US citizen has had their human or constitutional rights taken away – unless they were aiding and abetting our enemy. If you’re worried about rights for the scum in Camp X-Ray, or their ilk overseas, then once again, you’re a liberal who doesn’t understand war and survival. They have received much more humane treatment than the women and babies they kill and the men they torture. “interest rates are at an all time low” Any the problem with that is??? “unemployment is skyrocketing” Are you talking about the United States? Unemployment his not skyrocketing. Look at the numbers. If you’re talking about the 3.5MM jobs lost over the past three years to overseas outsourcing, what about the 3.4MM NEW jobs have been insoursed from foreign companies? That stat comes from our own liberal Dept. of Commerce, but you don’t ever hear the libs talk about it. The new insourced jobs are higher paying than the ones were loosing. I’m not a NAFTA fan, but let’s remember that NAFTA was Clinton’s baby – not W’s. “he spends very little time running the country, most weekends he is off either at his ranch or at some retreat.” What a load of liberal whining crap. “Dick Chaney, do you think what he is getting away with is ethical?” What is he ‘getting away with’? “Do you want 4 more yrs like the last 4?” YES YES YES ”Fill me in, am I missing something great Bush has done?” Have you been living under a rock since he took office? “I am not dead set against Bush, but I dont want 4 more yrs like the last 4!” Yes you are. You are dead set against him because you are a LIBERAL. Like so many whining liberals you won’t admit it. Be honest and admit you’re a liberal. “Convince me that Bush is the man to lead us out of this recession and he has my vote.” You will not be convincible until you take an honest look at the facts. Bush did not lead us into the recession. I’m not sure he can lead us out. It’s probably a lot worse than they admit and it’s liable to be along pull. Might get worse before it gets better. I just hope he’s not another Coolidge. I think he too liberal on spending and some social issues. Bush is not perfect. But he is light years better than Kerry or anything else the liberals have to offer. Craig-TX
