Equipment or Tack

Issue at a recent county fair
what would you consider tack and/or equipment used in displaying cattle

am i way off considering the necessities, feed hay pans halters etc as tack? and chutes, fans ,blowers ,stall dividers & show boxes as equipment?

I know this is true, if you had a rule that said "only tack allowed in barns no equipment" how would you interperet it?

The way my fair does it is each chapter/club has their own area to keep feed, tack, show boxes, snacks, ect. It is the chapter/clubs responsibility to keep this area neat and tidy. Each chapter/club will bring their own blowers, grooming chute, ect., but everyone ends up sharing. There is a designated area for washing and grooming chutes.

I think that you need to talk to the Livestock Chairman and find out what the definition of "equipment is." They may mean trim chutes or scales.
Get your answer in writing if you can. The term is too vague and broad.
