Couldn't resist getting into this conversation. I know I don't know you but I can tell you haven't worked with illegals. I myself am 20 and have worked with primarily illegals for the past three summers in the restaurants and figured I'd give you an idea of how their world works before you judge them. Here is how a good friend of mine edberto explained it: "All come here to work because seven dollars an hour is too easy of money to pass up." Working in Mexico he made $7 dollars a day you can do the math on why its good to come to america. They buy fake numbers (how i never asked) and get jobs where other illegals work. The B.C. catches them takes them back and they come back over. Edberto had been caught eight times and kept coming back. The B.C. even told him if he would turn in the coyote they would let him stay, but he couldn't do that cause the coyote's brothers would probably come kill him if they could find him. I've never worked with an illegal I didn't like. They out work every American I've ever met and enjoy it. The owner would hire whites and I would ask him to fire them and tell edberto to call one of his friends to work. They taught me a lot of spanish but wanted to learn as much english as they could so it went both ways. After work they would have me over, give me dinner and watch a the sports highlights and have a few beers. Very nice people. Anyways you seem to have a lot of animosity against illegals but i personally have no trouble with a man who works and all it costs me is giving his children an education (paying for their hospital visits is one touchy subject) but they are a hell of a lot better than the Americans we have here that dont work and get our welfare and medicare hand outs. American do me is anyone who is proud to be here and has a good work ethic. Best qualities any person could have.
