[QUOTE="Campground Cattle, post: 110039, member: 195"] Bull how correct you are, I started this thread a year ago as I had never heard the term in my dark corner of the world. I have not been the cattle business near as long as some on this board, and was amazed after buying cattle all over the state and southeast I had never heard the term. Prestone throw rocks at me as well because I had no idea where the term came from either. I freely admit when I have no knowledge of a subject unlike some of the cut and pasters who want you to think they know everthing. There is a handful of real cattlemen on this board, Thank goodness we have them for advice like the Ollie. Frenchie ,Bama ,Mike ,Texan ,La4 ,Craig, Bez, Crowder,Caustic ,BB338 ,TLC ,Springer, Dun ,CRR, Beefy , Wewild. Man O man do we have some cowgals I will put up against anyone Cert herf, Bulllady, txag, Cherokee, Cattle Annie. I know I missed some one and I apologize. There are a ton of hobby ranchers on this board like myself that have good city jobs that raise cattle. Many of these make some great contributions. There is a quite a few newbies here, that add great value by the questions they ask. Last we a few that really don't bring a lot of value, luckly it doesn't take long to call the roll in the class .
