Clydesdales Commercials

Help Support CattleToday:

The agility of most draft horse would really surprise you. I really like to watch them move.

I've had a lot of mules that were an 1/8 Belgium and 3/8 thoroughbred. All of them had plenty of height, and a medium bone. Pretty graceful animal for mule. Their mothers could run like the wind blows.

Thanks for sharing the link. We had a Percheron mare that our oldest daughter broke to ride. She did not like to canter, but she had the smoothest jog that I have ever ridden. She could do a slow jog for hours. A real pleasure to ride. The only problem was finding a saddle that fit without pinching and I had to make the headstall. At that time riding tack for draft horses was not found easily.

I'll share a couple of pics from the one and only Draft Horse Show at the Houston Livestock Show in the Astrodome.
