chuck eye

Everyone else probably knows it, but this year I had my butcher make some chuck eye steaks. Had one today.
It's probably just behind the ribeye for taste and texture on this beef. I like chuck roasts, but didn't expect much from the chuck steak.
Now, I always feed and butcher the best beef I raise, no blind, cripple, sick, etc animals.
Anyone else have any cuts I should try that I'm not aware of?

Chuck eye is my favorite steak.
Love a Tri trip too. Can't get them here anymore since we don't have a butcher.

My butcher is old school. I asked him about the "new cuts" and how the "new steak" styles are cut.
He said it takes a fancy laser saw to make those cuts and he wasn't about to invest xx,xxx dollars in a new saw.

You can't go wrong with a Tri-Tip... especially if you like to grill your meat!

I don't think a chuck eye is a new style cut. I could be wrong though.
You don't get many of them off each head, it's the end of something.
I think they have the very best "beef" taste.
