Yeah used to go fishin on a real pretty place out of Athens, people owned some little football team out of Dallas. It is beautiful country.

Cedar Creek Reservoir is in that area too. Beautiful lake, have a friend with a lakehouse there that I visit from time to time.

My in-laws live in Gun Barrel City.....that area has really grown the last few yrs....first the Wal-Mart, and now there's even a new Lowes! You used to be able to find relatively cheap lake front property around Cedar Creek Lake, but now all the rich Dallas-ites are buying the place up for their weekend homes. Same thing happened to Lake Texoma a while back.
