This is a three week old beef calf and three days ago we noticed that she had started to lose hair on each side of her nose. These are spots about 2 inches. The area of hair loss is not rounded not does it look like ring worm. We thought that it was just a couple spots she had rubbed off from where the milk dries on the nose. These have not grown at all. Today we noticed a loss of hair above only the right eye, not so much to worry about except it seems that the eye is now real sensitive. We run a purebred operation and this is a great heifer calf and we would hate for her to be blinded. I am not concerned that this is ring worm, it is not as I am familiar with that and its appearance. Does anyone have any reccomeded approach for treatment or an estimate of the problem? I will try to get a picture up tonight, but I couldn't get it done this morning. All help is greatly appreciated. Thanks
