[QUOTE="inyati13, post: 1193382, member: 17767"] I bet you think OJ Simpson is innocent of those two murders he committed. :D Institutions rarely meet the expectations we hold for them in our youth. Whether it the institution of higher education, law enforcement, justice, religion, government, family, etc. When I was under 10 years old, I thought my parents were infallible. I did not judge their actions, they were assumed to be without flaw. As we get older, we become less idealistic and naïve. I can reassess without the rose colored glasses now and I see my parents as humans wrought with flaws. The point is this: The institution of Justice is not as sacred and perfect as we hold it to be in our youth. In the course of my career, I saw the justice system fail many times. Although I respect the institution, at the same time, it is a three ring circus and we are all clowns. My point is this: Acts of this nature are repeated time and time again. Many never enter the institution of justice and many that do enter the institution of justice become a gross miscarriage of justice, in example, OJ Simpson. If I had a daughter and a man did this to her, one of my priorities in life before I reside on the wrong side of the grass would be getting my "Kentucky Justice". "Hazard Style", "Harlan Style", "Cleon Begley style". My wild Uncle Bill told me, "Don't ever turn it down if it is offered, but I will shoot you myself if you take it when it is not offered."
